Before there was a Davis Square T Stop

The indy Somerville News has an interesting photo colection of the building of the Davis Square T stop in the early 80's.

I know I frequented teh Square pre T with my parents, I just don't remember it. But we did walk to Harvard Square from Somerville during the Blizzard of 78.

Gee, that would have been a great time to buy a house in Somerville for about a 10th of what they sell for today.
