Two Quick Things On the Way to Work

En route to the second to last tour of duty of my weekend job, I noticed two things:

1.) I saw a branch actually crack and fall on a car. It was a relatively small branch - but I had never seen a branch crack live.

2.) A car was causing major gridlock because they were in the middle of the intersection as the opposing set of lights turned green. A minivan behind me curved around me and yelled out "Aaaassssshhhhhhhooooolllllleeee!!" at the offending gridlcoker in this reverberating baritone. My ears were still ringing when I arrived at work.

What these two incidents have in common - I do not know.
