Watching those calories slowly tick off is excritiating. Wow, I burned 48 calories, only 60,000 left to go. Its like being miserable in college never thinking you will grdauate and seeing how many boring electives you have to suffer through (for those that went the public route) or trying to pay off a lot of debt $7 an hour at a time.
I found the memoir section of http://www.turbid.com/ pretty funny. Escpecially some of the observations about being a part time limo driver in Boston. It all kind of reads like HIgh Fidelity. BUt there is an earnest entry about following your dreams. It was refreshing because even though the guy is mondo into indy music he doesn't try to impress and there were some good parts about aging. I used to work at the same Community newspaper with the author in 1997.
Anyway, i wanted to work some dialouge into these last two posts but missed the chance. I am looking forward to Monday, a day off from both jobs.
