Boston-online.com's round-up of local blog coverage of the deadly scaffolding accident at the Emerson College dormitory construction site. Because the accident occurred right in the heart of a college - there are numerous accounts and pictures.

They make a good point that the Boston.com window breaking ad was in poor taste considering the story underneath it. This thought crossed my mind when I read the initial coverage.

We could see part of the scene from the conference room at my work minutes after it was reported on tv. There were a number of ambulances and 3 news copters in the sky, also a ton of people gathered on the edge of the Boston Common. I hope that next time I see so many people gathered from the corner window it is for a happier occasion such as the marathon.

The Globe beat The Herald with this story. Their coverage was much more complete and they had a well done graphic on their web site by the evening, that made up for the crashing glass animated ad.
