3 Quick takes:
1.) On some of the side streets in East Arlington, off of Mass Ave - the houses are so uniform and close together that they look like one big loaf of bread that has been sliced.
2.) I hate it when guest on late night talk shows can't even wait through the fade to commercial to get up and leave and the host has to stand up and pretend to talk to them to make it seem less hurried, Leno had to do this last week with Clint Eastwood.
Also, Adam Sandler always looks extremely uncomfortable during interviews. he looked liek he wanted to crawl out the window on TRL.
3.) I re-watched Ghostworld on DVD today. It was interesting - now that the American beauty buzz has faded and the Lost in Translation buzz is in full swing - to see how you notice Scarlett Johansson mor ein the scenes and Thora Birch less. Perhaps it was because I saw Lost in Translation on Friday night.
Then I thought about a film festival marathon where every subsequent film would have to have one actor from the previous film in it. it might provide interesting juxtapositions. Like: Manny & Lo : Ghostworld: Lost in Translation: Royal Tennebaums: Old School : Made : Rudy : Lord of the Rings: Gods and Monsters
