Report from the field:

"So, you are telling me that there is no way to print an envelope in this shop?"

"Uhmm, well .. unfortuantely only the color printer will handle envelopes and it keeps jamming."

"Well, that will not do."

"I'm very sorry .. if you want to print it on paper - we can photocopy it."

"That will not due, are you telling me there is no place in this entire university to print an envelope .. I have to apply for these jobss (growing more angry)

At this point, I was thinking to myself - does anybody really care if the envelopes are printed or hand-written? Will the human resource person actually keep the envelope with the resume and point out the poor penmanship on the letter while going over candidates.
