I went to see Bad Santa recently with my friend Dmitry. He asked me why Americans laugh so much when someone gets kicked in the groin.

I said that I did not really know. Maybe it has something to do with the puritanical origins of the country and the way sex is promoted and suppressed simutaneously by society. Or maybe it is just funny.
