Holiday Memory
I write this memory from Kennebunk, Maine - where I am spending Christmas Eve watching a Saturday Night Live DVD with my brother, sister, father, Corrie and two cats. The overloading on carbohydrates has stripped my ability to come up with many adjectives or other importnat things like that that make writing fun to read. So bare with me.
My mother is in the other room wrapping, she has always been a procrastinator when it comes to wrapping.
Anyway, when I was in 5th grade or so - I was outside shoveling and I found this old battery on the ground. I touched it to my toungue for some reason - and it tingled. For some reason I thought that this was a sign that my Great Grandmother was trying to communicate with me from the great beyond.
