The Unbearable Lightness of No Air Conditioning

Well, that $98 for an extra 512k of RAM would have been better spent on an air conditioner. I would have gotten used to the slow Photoshop actions, I swear.

It is about 95% in the apartment right now and I type this with sweat feeling gravity's pull, illuminated by the blue glow of the new eMac. I just nedd an eAirconditioner. Pronto.

It would be cooler to sleep outside. I'll splay out on the hood of my car like a rejected White Snake video.

I just came back from the Walgreen's in downtown Malden and feel like I walked off the set of a Fellini movie. Check it out sometime. There's a fine line between eclectic and crazed. Glassy eyed guys with bad moustaches being pulled by their pot bellies, sauntering down the aisles in this store where time was taking its own time unfurling. I was waiting for the log lady to come out or something. The lines in people's faces were writing an unsold masterpiece about the human condition.

The humidity is working wonders with my hair and as I run my left hand thugh it to swipe away the approaching infantry line of sweat beads - my hair stands on organic end like Erasherhead, like the cubist Morrissey.

The humidity clouds my judgement and the white eMac keyboards keys look inviting - I want to dive down into the shadows between them - they are like glistening corral. And I am on the sun scorched island peering down at them.

Alright, maybe I am being a wee bit melodramatic - but it is hot. Damn.
