I hope I nailed it
Last week, on Wednesday night I went to buy a new shirt the night before my first interview for a permanent job since being laid off on March 27th.
After I bought the shirt and ate a Chick-fil-a sandwich, I decided somewhat impulsively to get a manicure at the mall. I admitt that I felt the need to tell the nail technician that I had an interview the next day, etc. But after soaking my pushed back cuticles and seeing the much neater finished product, I would not hesitate to go back and get another one sometime.
My nails look neat and slightly shiny now - and they might have sub-conciously boosted my confidence as I presented my portfolio and fielded the usual pointed questions.
Go pumice and buffing!
